Sunday Slushy Sunday

Awesome day!

KV Mia and I rolled down on Saturday afternoon in her new and improved Yo Surf was good to catch up with Ko, and Mia who i have hardly seen this season.
After a lazy drive down to beloved national park and a relatively early morning much to the disgrace of one drunk Koan, we awoke to a thick fog in Nat P, Meiche Ken and Sam Dow arrived super early after a early drive down, we headed off up the hill...
The closer we drove to Whakapapa in the morning the sky open and the sky was as blue as can be and sunny as a mo fo! So it would appear that the sun, warmer weather and lets not forget that rain has taken it toll and the snow covers getting a bit scarce.

It was a pretty crisp morning, the the few ghetto booters nice and crisp, yet as midday rolled around the slush was every where and speed for the kicks was almost impossible,

as our beloved whakapapa park had no jibs set up we decided to take it into our own hands and get creative!

Was super good fun to build some stuff and really got the crew all into it, Kelvin Josh and Brendan from the local massive finally got up the hill and joined in with all the spring fun.

Sam Dow didnt get down so much with our home made features so he went and did some sole shreading out west, and got to see some rad punter fall and slide down the the T line, Dope!
